I like it and I want one!

Mine needs to be large enough to sit two comfortably. I'd like the optional sport package, manual override with collision warning systems of course, inflight food replicator, and global LTE communications/entertainment suite.

Maybe all my options are not possible today but with great new innovative technologies come great new opportunities to expand upon it and compliment it.

Progress is the right thing to do and don’t worry, the FedEx’s of the world will adapt. When your shoebox absolutely has to be there overnight... Scratch that. We’re delivering medicine that will save lives, so let’s go with, “when your shoebox absolutely has to be there in an hour”.

The thing to keep in mind J-Man is not whether one is proactive/reactive, but the speed at which they can work. The point Ben was making is that Entrepreneurs move at quicker pace than corporations, since employees at corporations are often hand-cuffed by process, procedures and "rules." This is important in the business world because windows of opportunity are small...he who is fastest usually wins.

Entrepreneurs do not have these handcuff's and many smaller corporations do not as well, but you're fooling yourself if you think you can talk about an idea at 6pm at a Fortune 500 and have a prototype ready Monday morning. It doesn't happen that way.

Being able to move quicker and bring more ideas to market, will always give Entrepreneurs and small corporations an edge over large corporations when it comes to seizing opportunity.

Thanks for the feedback. To me, it sounds as though you neither work for a corporation nor are you an entrepreneur, though that may not be the case. To state that corporations are proactive and entrepreneurs are reactive, in the context of this post, seems as though you didn’t understand the message. If that's due to my writing style or content, then I apologize. Surely it is beneficial to work for a company, they need employees too and not everyone is cut out to be an entrepreneur. Surely corporations are proactive as well as reactive, as are companies built by entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurs themselves. If it seems like entrepreneurs only have a five minute plan, maybe you could benefit by seeking some out and for clarity sake ask them about their five year plan. While it may not be Harvard MBA style, they all have a long term plan. As an entrepreneur, in the context of this post, I have been both proactive in crafting its content and reactive in responding to you message. For allowing me to do so, I thank you.

It seems like Corporations have a 5 year plan, and Entrepreneurs have a 5 minute plan. Corporations are proactive, and Entrepreneurs are reactive. And although it maybe beneficial to BE an Entrepreneur at times, it is definitely beneficial to WORK for a Corporation.

Mr. Chan,
Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it.
With respect to your products and who to contact, you can feel free to send your information to me and I will get it in the hands of the product management team. We have a standardized process and schedule for adding on new brands and unfortunately this can take some time based on current backlog. If your product is available through US distribution it makes it easier as we don't typically purchase directly from manufacturers at this time.
All the best,
Ben

Dear Mr. Sayer,

Very interesting blog input. I definitely do agree and this point really struck me.
"Good leaders protect their employees from lengthy meetings, meddlesome superiors, and a host of other roadblocks to doing real work."
Too often do I see lengthy meetings that have no clear cut framework or timeline which ultimately wastes time.

I dont mean to be rude but I've been trying to get in contact with someone from your company so I can share some of the products we carry. I think maybe you can refer me in the right direction, we do have products that fit your product categories but also some IP Power products as well, that your company may find intersting.
If you do not mind pleases point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate your help.

Thank you.

Best Regards,
Jerry Chan
